Analytical study of complete repertory in homoeopathic management of chronic Bronchial Asthma.
Bronchial asthma is a chronic respiratory disorder that affects individuals across all age groups. It is a heterogeneous condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways, resulting in episodic breathlessness, chest tightness, coughing, and wheezing. These symptoms are typically caused by airway narrowing due to muscle spasms, mucosal swelling, and thick bronchial secretions. Despite numerous therapeutic advances, the prevalence and severity of asthma continue to rise globally and in India. Homeopathy offers a promising approach in managing chronic bronchial asthma by considering the individualistic symptom picture and selecting a suitable remedy based on holistic principles. Although several studies have demonstrated the role of homeopathy in asthma, there is limited literature on the practical utility of Complete Repertory in such cases. Complete Repertory, a comprehensive and evolving tool in homeopathy, offers a wide range of rubrics and updated remedy relationships that help in individualizing treatment. This review aims to bridge the gap by highlighting the clinical utility of Complete Repertory in bronchial asthma and its role in improving patient outcomes. It also explores the importance of repertorization, individualized remedy selection, and symptom analysis in reducing the frequency and intensity of asthmatic episodes.
A Comprehensive Literature Review on Myopia with Homoeopathic perspectives
Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a common refractive error in which distant objects appear blurred due to the focal point of light being in front of the retina. With the increasing global prevalence of myopia, particularly among children and adolescents, there is an urgent need to explore and understand its etiological mechanisms, risk factors, and alternative approaches to its management. This literature review delves into the risk factors and theories behind the progression of myopia, the clinical classification of various forms of myopia, and the holistic homeopathic approach to its treatment. It discusses the role of therapeutically indicated remedies and repertorial rubrics with a focus on muscular asthenopia, ciliary muscle dysfunction, and accommodative strain.
Effectiveness of Homeopathic Medicine Helonias Dioica 30 and Individualized Homoeopathic Medicine in Chronic Low Back Pain of age group between 13 60 years using Defense Veterans Pain Rating Scale: Randomized Control Trial
Aim: To Evaluate the effectiveness of Homeopathic Medicine Helonias Dioica 30 and Individualized Homeopathic Medicine in Chronic Low Back Pain of age group between 13 to 60 years using Defense Veterans Pain Rating Scale. Objective: To study the effectiveness of Homeopathic Medicine Helonias Dioica 30 in Chronic Low Back Pain for age group 13-60years and to identify the most indicated Homeopathic Medicine in cases of Chronic Low Back Pain. Materials And Methods: The Randomized Control Trial, includes 46 cases of chronic Low Back Pain, out of which 23 were in experimental group receiving Heloias Dioica 30CH, and 23 were in control group receiving Individualized Homoeopathic medicine. Result: According to reliability of Defense Veterans Pain Rating Scale) DVPRS from group N1(23 cases): 36.95% cases improved, 60.86% cases were improving, and 2.17% case not improved. Since the calculated value of t (10.9547) is greater than table value of t (2.08), Individualized Homoeopathic Medicine is more effective than Helonias Dioica 30 in Chronic Low Back pain for age group 13 -60 years.
A comparative study between the efficacy of individualized homeopathic medicine along with Ferrum phosphoricum 6X as biochemic and Lecithin 12C alone in treatment of anemia in females of 13 to 49 years of age group
Background: Anaemia in females of reproductive age are at high risk. Objective: The objective of this study is compare the effectiveness of Individualized Homoeopathic medicine along with Ferrum phos 6X and Lecithin 12C alone in treatment of anemia and secondary objective is to find out common causes of anemia. Materials and Methods: Comparative study was done for 6months and sample were taken from Motiwala Hospital OPD and Medical camps through Simple random Sampling technique 46 sample size were selected according to our inclusion criteria (females of 13 to 49 years of age, Hb ranging from 7 to 12gm/dl, patient who have given consent and who have fulfilled the criteria for questionnaire) and complete blood count was done. The sample were divided into two, Group A were given Individualized homoeopathic medicine along with Ferrum phos 6X and Ferrum phos 6X was repeated in every follow up. Group B was given Lecithin 12C and it was repeated in alternate follow up. After 6 follow ups again complete blood count was done and result were formed accordingly. Results: 135 patients were screened and out of which 46 sample size was selected, the calculated t value 2.20 significantly exceeds the table t value 2.02. Hence it was considered that the study is statistically significant. Among 46 cases of anemia, the most common cause was nutritional deficiency due to improper dietary intake (36 cases, 78.26%) followed by recurrent infection (5 cases, 10.87%), heavy menstrual bleeding (4 cases, 8.70%) and hemorrhoids (1 case, 2.17%).. Conclusion: Hence we concluded that both individualized homeopathic medicine with Ferrum phos 6X and Lecithin 12C are effective in treating anemia, but their impact is unequal. The combination of homeopathic medicine with Ferrum phos 6X showed significantly better improvement in anemia compared to Lecithin 12C.
To compare the effectiveness of biochemic preparation Kalium Sulphuricum 6x versus conventional method in the growth of Capsicum Annuum: A Randomized controlled Trial.
Background: Argo Homoeopathy enhancing the growth and cultivation of plant without soil and water contamination. As chilli (C.anuum) is one of the most valuable crop of India .It plays an important role in diet ,medicinal properties and mainly in improving economic conditions of farmers especially marginal and small farmers, and as both K and S plays an important role accelerating growth of plant and prevent low yield. Objectives: 1)To compare the difference between growth of plant receiving kalium sulphuricum 6x and conventional method 2) To compare yield between plants receiving kalium sulphuricum 6x versus conventional method. Material and methods: 46 samples of capsicum annuum selected, 23 were administered kalium sulphuricum 6x i.e group C and 23 were on conventional method ie groupD. Growth parameters measure 15 days interval. Result: Plants provided with Kalium sulphuricum 6x (Group C) compare to Nonmedicated ie plants receiving conventional method (Group D) show prominent increased height and no.of leaves reflected in statistic as t value being 4.512 which is significant to indicate positive result for height, t value of 4.047 for no. of leaves. Total yield of medicated group was 39.13% and group which is on conventional method was 4.34%.Conclusion: Findings suggest homoeopathic biochemic preparation kalium sulphuricum 6x enhances growth of capsicum annuum plant compared to conventional method.
EFFECTIVENESS OF INDIVIDUALIZED HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE FOR PICA IN THE AGE GROUP OF 2 – 15 YEARS: A CASE SERIES
Pica, a behavioural disorder marked by the persistent consumption of non-edible and non nutritive substances such as soil, raw rice, raw potatoes, pencil chalk, paper, and soap, often affects children. Individualized homoeopathic medicine were prescribed based on the physical, emotional, and mental profiles of each patient. Calcarea Carbonica, Tarentula Hispanica, and Silicea were commonly used. Symptom improvement was observed over six months through regular follow-ups, and paired t-tests confirmed clinical effectiveness. This research advocates for further studies into the role of homoeopathy in managing pica.
