To study the efficacy of Homoeopathic Medicines in treating a case of hydatid cyst in liver: A Case Report

with Dr. Virendra Jain, Dr. Sheetal Kumawat
4/3/2026
pp. 20-28

The aim of this study was to observe efficacy of homoeopathic medicines in cases of hydatid cyst in liver. Hydatid cysts are fluid-filled sacs caused by the Echinococcus granulosus tapeworm, predominantly affecting the liver. Conventional treatment typically involves surgical intervention and antiparasitic medications; however, challenges such as recurrence and patient tolerance necessitate exploration of alternative therapies. Homeopathy offers a personalized approach that may address the psychosomatic aspects of disease, enhance patient comfort, and promote overall well-being. A case of hydatid cyst in liver was reported in our clinic. Patient complained about giddiness and fear in the beginning. After CT scan he was diagnosed with Hydatid cyst in liver. He complained about pain in right hypogastrium region with aggravation from bending double and pressure. Patient is under homoeopathic treatment and is showing improvement.

with Dr. Virendra Jain, Dr. Sheetal Kumawat
4/3/2026
pp. 39-43

The monsoon season is often associated with a higher incidence of intermittent fever because of wet weather and environment, presenting a challenge for timely and effective treatment. Homeopathy offers a viable approach for managing these fevers with minimal delay and without side effects. This research explores various homeopathic remedies that have proven effective in treating intermittent fever over the years. Successful management of this condition requires a thorough understanding of the disease, homeopathic medicines, and the principles of organon. Additionally, a comprehension of miasms, Similimum that follows after totality of symptoms, and posology is crucial for providing swift and safe recovery. This study aims to highlight the efficacy of homeopathic treatment and the essential knowledge required for their successful application as per our clinical experience of the current monsoon of 2024.

Liver diseases diagnosed as Liver cirrhosis with Homoeopathic Treatment: A Case Report

with Dr. Virendra Jain, Dr. Sheetal Kumawat
4/3/2026
pp. 30-38

Liver diseases, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and cirrhosis, are prevalent globally and can arise from various etiologies such as obesity, excessive alcohol consumption, hepatitis infections, autoimmune disorders, cholestatic conditions, and metabolic overloads of iron or copper. Liver cirrhosis, characterized by the formation of regenerative nodules surrounded by fibrous bands and progressive hepatic dysfunction, often leads to severe complications such as variceal bleeding, portal hypertension, and coagulopathy. Traditional management typically involves addressing these complications through conventional medical approaches. This case report presents the management of a patient with liver cirrhosis and its complications using a homeopathic treatment approach. By focusing on the totality of symptoms rather than isolated manifestations, homeopathic treatment aims to address the underlying imbalance and promote overall health. The report highlights the therapeutic process, patient response, and outcomes, providing insights into the potential role of homeopathy in managing complex liver cirrhosis cases.
