The Foundation Programme for I BHMS students (batch 2022–23) was conducted at Motiwala National Homoeopathic Medical College, Nashik, from February 2 to 14, 2023. This 10‑day orientation aimed to ease the transition of new entrants into the medical field by addressing academic, social, and psychological challenges. Sessions covered institutional vision and mission, BHMS curriculum, holistic health concepts, constitutional values, time management, stress management, gender sensitization, team working, language skills, computer literacy, and patient safety. Practical demonstrations included basic life support, first aid, observation and documentation, and yoga practice. Students also visited healthcare facilities to understand system delivery and community care. The final three days focused on Universal Human Values education, emphasizing leadership, moral capabilities, and social responsibility. Feedback analysis revealed enthusiastic participation and positive impact, highlighting the programme’s role in preparing students for professional and personal growth in homoeopathic medical education.
