Abstract
An Antiragging Awareness Program was conducted on 13th September 2023 at the Zobie Motiwala Auditorium, coordinated by the Departments of Physiology and Pediatrics. The session was addressed by Dr. A.F. Motiwala, Chairman of the Anti-Ragging Committee, and Mrs. Jyoti Amane, Police Inspector, Women Security Cell, Nashik Division. A total of 186 students from I and III BHMS participated. The program included documentary presentations, interactive discussions, and motivational talks highlighting the psychological, social, and legal consequences of ragging. Speakers emphasized that ragging is a punishable crime, the importance of reporting incidents immediately, and the need to foster a ragging-free environment conducive to learning. The initiative successfully raised awareness among students, reinforced institutional commitment to zero tolerance against ragging, and encouraged proactive measures for prevention.
