Dr. F.F Motiwala, Dr. G.B Prasad, Dr. Varsha Dharne, Dr. Manisha Ahiwalay, Dr. Ashwini Aher, Dr. Asha Bhosale, Dr. Natasha Dewani, Miss. Ekta Vora

This case series investigated the effectiveness of the Bacopa Monnieri (Brahmi Q) mother tincture, in alleviating memory complaints among individuals aged 15 years and above. Conducted over six months in Nashik, the study involved a sample of 15 participants whose memory was assessed using the Memory Complaint Scale (MCS). The results of a paired t-test demonstrated a highly statistically significant improvement in memory complaint scores after treatment (p-value: 8.8451 x 10-8 ). The mean percentage improvement was 47.15%, with a large effect size (Cohen's dz = 2.5934). The findings suggest that Bacopa Monnieri mother tincture is effective and a viable therapeutic option for improving memory complaints.

Dr. Gayatri Nimbhore, Dr. Subhash Yadav, Dr. Ajay Valke, Dr Smitha Nair, Dr Sonali Rohom, Dr. Farahnaz Shaikh, Miss Sarah Naaz, Mr. Vikas Yashwant

Background: Tobacco dependence is a major health concern globally, and finding effective treatment options is essential for reducing its prevalence and associated health risks1. Aim: To study the effectiveness of individualized homeopathic medicine for reducing the tobacco dependence in age group of 18-60 years. Objectives: Primary objective: To study the effect of individualized homeopathic medicine in reduction of frequency for tobacco. Secondary objective: To find the most frequently indicated homeopathic medicine in reducing the tobacco dependency. Materials and Methods: Case series study was done among 30 subjects with Tobacco dependence randomly selected from M(N)HMC OPD and peripheral camps. Status of dependence of subjects was measured with Fagerstrom Nicotine Dependence scale. Individualized homoeopathic medicine was administered. Result: Statistical analysis was done using Paired t test. Out of 30 patients, effectiveness of Individualized homoeopathic medicine is seen in 26 patients (86.66%) and frequency & dependency remains same in 4 patients (13.33%). Conclusion: According to statistics of nicotine addiction calculated before and after intervention of individualized homoeopathic medicine for dependency and frequency of tobacco eaten per day gives the t value of 10.16 and 7.15 respectively Hence, we concluded that Individualized homoeopathic medicine is effective in reducing the tobacco dependency.

A case of chronic urticaria treated with use of 50 millesimal Potency. A case report

Dr. Kirti kadam, Dr. Sonali Dhote

Introduction - Urticaria is a common dermatological disorder characterized by the sudden appearance of transient, pruritic wheals resulting from localized dermal edema. It affects approximately 15–25% of the population at least once during their lifetime and may present in acute or chronic forms depending on duration and recurrence. Case Summary -This case report describes the homoeopathic management of a 30-year-old male presenting with acute urticarial eruptions, following partial and temporary relief from conventional medication. Individualized homoeopathic treatment resulted in marked clinical improvement. Result- This case illustrates the clinical relevance of individualized homeopathic prescribing in a patient with acute urticaria. The therapeutic outcome was assessed using the Modified Naranjo Criteria for Homoeopathy (MONARCH), which yielded a score of +9, suggesting a probable causal relationship between the intervention and the observed improvement. Conclusion - This case demonstrates the effectiveness of individualized homoeopathic treatment using LM potency in urticaria, highlighting holistic case analysis and MONARCH-supported clinical improvement with sustained symptomatic relief.

Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of individualized homoeopathic treatment combined with auxiliary therapies in managing premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms in women aged 14-40 years in Nashik, Maharashtra. Objectives: To assess the impact of individualized homoeopathic remedies and complementary auxiliary treatments (likely yogasanas) on the severity and frequency of PMS symptoms. To document the changes in physical, psychological, and behavioural manifestations of PMS following this integrated treatment approach. Methodology: The specific duration of this case series is 6 months. Result: The study likely observed clinical improvements in PMS symptoms following the combined treatment with t value of 11.09 and p value of <0.0001 showing statistically significant result warranting further controlled research. Conclusion: Study investigated the efficacy of homoeopathic medicine along with yogasanas in alleviating symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) in females aged 14-40. Results demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in PMS symptoms following homoeopathic treatment and yogasanas.

A Prospective Case Series to Study the Effectiveness of Individualised Homeopathic Medicine in Recurrent Upper Respiratory Tract Infection in School Children (Age 5–15 years)

Dr. Sachin Bhalerao, Dr. Kamlesh Bagmar, Dr. Vaishali Zodgekar, Dr. Swati Patil, Dr. Ankita Thete, Dr. Deepali Paraskar, Miss. Nikita Shrivastav, Miss. Shambhavi Kulkarni, Miss. Sneha Dubey

Recurrent upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) are highly prevalent among school-aged children and significantly impact health, attendance, and quality of life. This prospective case series assesses the effectiveness of individualized homeopathic treatment in reducing the severity of URTIs using the Jackson Scoring System. Forty-five children aged 5–15 years with recurrent URTIs were evaluated using Jackson scores before treatment and after a 6-month follow-up period. Individualized homeopathic remedies were prescribed based on symptom totality. Comparative analysis demonstrated a meaningful reduction in Jackson scores posttreatment, indicating improvement in URTI severity. The study suggests that individualized homeopathic medicine may provide symptomatic relief and decrease infection burden in children with recurrent URTIs.

Role of Homoeopathic Medicines for improving The Quality-Of-Life in Cancer patients under Palliative care: A Literature Review

Dr. Shweta Yadav

Cancer remains a major global health concern, with an estimated 19.3 million new cases reported worldwide in 2020. Conventional treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, although effective, are often associated with significant adverse effects that impact patients’ quality of life (QoL). Increasingly, patients are exploring complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), including homoeopathy, as supportive care. Homoeopathy, based on the principle of “like cures like,” aims to stimulate the body’s self-healing mechanisms through individualized treatment. Evidence suggests that adjunctive homoeopathic care may help alleviate treatment-related side effects and improve QoL in cancer patients. This review highlights the role of homoeopathy as a complementary approach in cancer management, emphasizing its potential benefits in enhancing patient well-being alongside conventional therapies.
